Explaining His & Michael Jackson’s DEEP Connection | Macaulay Culkin in His Own Words | the detail.

Ready, set, go. You cheater! He cheats a lot, but it's fun. He loves to have fun. I met him for the first time, he called me
randomly, like, out of the blue. Just kind of like, hey, it's Michael. And he's like, hey. The thing is – after the homeland alone? This is after "Home Alone". I actually met him before, I was doing "The
Nutcracker" At Lincoln Center. I was playing Fritz, and he came backstage one day and I met
him very briefly, and he kind of recognized me because it was
after I had done that with Uncle Buck. You and Mac have an extensive relationship. Is this correct? Yes, we have known each other for about four years now. How did you guys meet? We met what was it? Lincoln Center.

Lincoln Center? He was in
"The Nutcracker". I was in "The Nutcracker." Mac is an amazing dancer. he. When Michael saw the movie Home Alone at
Christmas 1990, he asked his housekeeper to hook up with his young star, Macaulay Culkin. Michael saw the movie, and asked Norma to make him buy
and spend some time on the farm. Yeah, he called me because yeah,
because a lot of things were going on like, big and fast with me. And I think yeah, I think he identified with that. Then he calls me out of the blue and it's kind of just this weird and random thing and says why
don't you come to my house? The thing is, I didn't react
to it like most people did. Most people love Michael
Jackson. And you know, I mean, he was a god to the people, and to
me, he was, you know, I knew he was a pop singer, but
then, I wasn't one of the fans.

I think that's one of the reasons we communicate. I didn't really give anything away about famous people because
I wasn't completely influenced by them. So when I first met him,
I was like, okay, cool. You're just that guy. Oh, that guy who sings
songs like, cool, cool. I sing songs at school. That's great. In any case. I've never lost a water balloon fight. I'm the Michael Jordan of water balloon fights. We have won the fight over and over again. I think that's also one of the reasons we got along, is because everyone's
always totally into him.

And so the fact that there was someone who
was just, like, treated like a normal person was kind of
like yeah, it was that simple. Trust me. I called him an idiot all the time. I call it fat head and this and that. You know? Knowing Macaulay Culkin
, he made sure he fooled me. He told me to get on the diving board and
I got in there like a nut. No, I will kill you. I'm going to kill you, Mac. Mac, I will annihilate you. We're in Bermuda, looking for some treasure. Mac and I are going on vacation together,
and Mac is very smart and he's very good at causing trouble, but it's his idea. Yes. We were in Bermuda together, and we were signing water balloons.

Yes, he made me sign water balloons, and he would throw these balloons
at the fans in the balcony. They loved this. They wanted more. They were asking for more. Mac and Brock were watching a movie
or something in the other room, and we went out to
the balcony, and that's when I went out with him. He really missed not having a childhood. This was one of the reasons he did
all these crazy things, because now he could do whatever he wanted. He wanted to have the fun he
didn't have as a child. I remember the statement he made
that children are honest. You can trust them. It says I haven't been around adults who haven't ended up
wanting something from me. You know, what Michael went through as a kid
, he had to grow up so quickly that it related to what I went through as a kid. And I think, in a way, he was trying to protect you. It was kind of deep. Did you feel that way? Yes. He used to tell me that very few people besides Michael could truly understand that
kind of white hot interest.

I was an unparalleled person. I was like, yeah. No one at my Catholic school even had that much idea what I was going through. He was kind of like, yeah, I went through the same
scary thing and I wanted to make sure I wasn't alone in it. One time I wore a ski mask. I was walking down the street, and this guy goes, I just heard him whisper, Is this kid from Home Alone? I'm wearing a ski mask. Boy, I better get my plans straight. I had this really lonely feeling that seemed very dangerous to me.

In appreciation for the work on the short film “
Black or White”. We want to thank you, love you and think you
did a great job. John. What mac? John Yes it was hilarious. He was cute, and people
didn't know how funny he was. He loved to prank people. He was really good with no, no. It was like how are you? Andyea, like, I'm fine. Like, hey, do you have any mattresses
in your mattress store? He was charming and funny.

silly. Macaulay is genuinely excited, eager to
introduce Michael to his home alone. Two costars, Devon
Retray, who was scoring away. Ladies and gentlemen, the one and only person, Michael
Jackson, is in that airport trolley. Don't I know you from somewhere, you are that wrong man, T Hurler. Billie Jean. He's armed, he's dangerous. Oh, Michael. Then later in 1993,
Macaulay's close friend Michael Jackson was accused of child molestation. These statements about me are completely wrong, as I pointed out from the beginning. I hope it's quick. Mac later admitted that
he would like to speak out in Jackson's defense, but
his father wouldn't let him. He was 13 years old at the time. Things like when you and Liz Taylor were godparents to Michael Jackson's son. This was recent, though, and that was the kind of Michael,
my companion and Liz's other classmate.

Yes, he called me and said, Do you want
to be my son's godfather? I said, yeah, sure. Next thing I know
, it's like magazines and stuff like that. Which I didn't
think was a big deal. He's like one of my best friends asked
me to be his son's godfather. What will I say? no? Macaulay was there for
Michael's All-Star salute in 2001. He's a nice guy and I'm
so happy to have him in my life. I think one of the great things about
our relationship is he and I can just act like kids all the time and
that's kind of what we do. Macaulay is the godfather of Michael's two children. How are they? Oh, they do a great job. She is beautiful.

They are beautiful and continue to grow. I think, you know, the more normalcy Michael could give
them, the better the relationship that you had with Michael Jackson. Was or have? I mean whatever. Listen, you know, he's just a
good friend of mine, and he still is. I mean, everything that's happening, I mean, it's unfortunate. It's an unfortunate situation for everyone involved. What happened in the house, that's what
happened in all this stuff- that's what's so strange. actually? Nothing happened. I mean, nothing really. I mean, we played video games. We played it at his amusement park. Well, the thing about this whole thing is that they go, you're
sleeping in the same bedroom as him.

It's like I don't think you understand. Michael Jackson's two-story bedroom. It has, like, three bathrooms and this and that. So when I slept in his bedroom, yes, but you have to understand the whole scenario. He talked about the little boys
sleeping in his bed in his bedroom. Well, you and your brother Kieran did. Yes. It wasn't anything strange. It wasn't anything we were thinking about. We go to the movies and we do this, we do that, and it's like, okay, you
fall, you go to sleep, you wake up.

It's kind of what happens. Did your parents encourage it? They were not against it. It's not like they
encouraged it or pushed me into it. It was like I wanted to hang out
with him, and they were okay with it. What do you think about what he's going through now? Like I said, it's unfortunate, and it's a circus now. I don't know. It's a bit crazy. And I kind of took a step back from the whole thing because it's part of the circus. And if the same thing happens to me, I don't want to drag him into it and vice versa. So I do my best to keep my distance from him. If they asked you to be a witness, would you show up? I think so, but maybe not. I mean, like I said, it's crazy, and I don't
really want to be a part of it. Actor Macaulay Culkin arrived and left the courtroom here in Santa
Maria with little fanfare. His testimony did not last long. In a very clear and strong voice he told the jury that Michael Jackson
never touched him inappropriately.

He also said, quote, I've never seen him
act inappropriately with anyone. Culkin faced somewhat aggressive questioning
by prosecutor Ron Zonin. Yes, he shared
a bed with Michael Jackson, Culkin said, but described it as being like
sleeping on Jackson's bed. The prosecution then tried to suggest that Jackson may have
molested Culkin while he was sleeping. Prosecutor Zonin said: As far as you know,
you were not molested while you were awake? Culkin responded, To my knowledge,
Michael Jackson never molested me. You said that you felt that he had no
abnormal relations with any of the boys, any of the boys
who remained in his household. How did you know that? Well, I mean you never know
anything without 100% certainty. But at the same time I mean if
my opinion is if it didn't do anything for me, I don't think it would
do anything for anyone else. When was the last time you spoke
to Michael Jackson? About four months ago.

How is he? He lives in Bahrain. In the Middle East? Yes. When I talked to him, it seemed like he was getting better. I mean, his voice was stronger. So I just said, just go and take care
of yourself, basically, that was my advice. So, who knows if he'll take it? Jackson's three children,
Prince, Paris and Blanket, formally emerged from the Rolls-
Royce caravan just after sunset, his entire family more than an
hour late for a service witnessed by Jackson's best friends, who included 77-year-old Liz Taylor
, frequent Neverland guest Macaulay Culkin, and his aide
Long time Quincy Jones.

He has always defended his friendship with Michael. correct. And just last January,
Macaulay spoke about the pop star on the Inside You with Michael Rosenbaum podcast. He revealed that he and Jackson bonded over their childhood fame. It's almost easy to try to say, it was, like, weird or
whatever, but it wasn't. It's like one of my friendships that
people would question just because of the fact that he was the most famous person in the world.

He was the kind of person who,
like, yeah, went through the exact same panicked thing and I wanted to make sure
I wasn't alone in that. To me, this is normal and mundane. I know it's a big deal for everyone
else, but for me, it was a normal friendship. Now, Macaulay has always said that Michael
never did anything inappropriate to him, despite
other sexual assault accusations against the pop star. Now, in the interview, Macaulay says, in part, quote, If I had something
to talk about, I would absolutely do it. But no, I never saw anything. He never did anything. Now, Macaulay has also spoken out about an
awkward interaction he had with James Franco on a plane regarding Michael
Jackson's documentary "Finding Neverland." He said James asked him what he thought about the matter. Well, he simply replied, quote
, Do you want to talk about your dead friend? And for some reason, people think he's the only one
who knows because he was there. So everyone wants his opinion. In my head, there's no way, again, I guess, no way that Michael Jackson could touch
or do anything to Macaulay Culkin because he was the most famous person on the
face of the earth at that time.

I mean, one of them. I think he used it as a beard or as a cover to
say, look, I have kid friends, and I don't do anything with them,
and he can broadcast that to everyone. Sam, I think he did this interview
because he doesn't do a lot of interviews. He hasn't done a single job in 15 years thinking. He doesn't need that. He's not promoting anything now. It's multi-millionaire. You don't need money, you don't need exposure.

Everyone knows his name. He does
this, I think, to tell people to take
my dead friend's name out of your mouth..
