Three Possible Gift Ideas for Beatles Fans
The Beatles Remastered Stereo Box Set
Every album The Beatles released from 1962 through 1970 in remastered stereo! These discs sound amazing and are definitely a huge improvement over the old 1987 CDs. They are definitely worth buying. Any Beatles fan would love to get the stereo box set as a birthday present.
The drums & the bass sound particularly better on these CDs. What used to be “buried” has now been unearthed so that it can be clearly heard.
On top of the excellent sound this box set also has really great packaging and it comes with an exclusive DVD which includes a short documentary on the making of each Beatles album.
The Beatles Remastered Mono Box Set
The original mono versions of The Beatles first ten albums are finally on CD with this box set. This is a great gift for the really serious Beatles fan because it’s the Beatles albums as they were originally intended to be heard by the band themselves.
Many will be curious to hear these original mixes because in some cases they are very much different from the stereo mixes. For example “Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds” has a lot more effects on the vocals.
This is a great present for any Beatles fan who is also into video games. But I would say that someone doesn’t have to be a gamer to love this game. It’s really great for any fan of the band. I think even those who think that they don’t like playing video games would find out that they love playing Beatles Rock Band..
The the most fun part of the game for me is the singing part. It’s really a barrel of monkeys to sing all of The Beatles songs and what’s really great about it is you can even sing the harmonies. This is a great way to learn how to sing harmonies better.
It’s also a really fun party game because three people can sing at once and for the singing part of the game you don’t need any of the expensive Rock Band instruments you just need three microphoens (and these mics are very cheap.)
